The modular library is a private commission designed to house a large book collection within an intimate space where family members of all ages can gather to enjoy reading and take a break from their mobile phones.
The project is conceived as a blend of local craftsmanship and industrial production; a concrete base projecting over a stream supports a structure made of prefabricated industrial panels.
The exterior is clad in copper sheeting, while the interior features wooden flooring and two wall-to-wall bookcases that display the colorful collection.
