Our proposal for the first version of Casa FOA, interior design exhibition in Chile, aimed to provoke a novel spatial sensation in the visitor. We designed a space that sought to fade its limits, where the walls imperceptibly turned into ceiling and the light slid smoothly through its white curves.
We wanted to accentuate the idea of infinity with the incorporation of horizontal wall perforations with a mirror in the background that produced a repetition effect, contributing to the sensation of depth we wanted to achieve.
Drywall sheets of different types and shapes supplied by Knauf were used for the construction. The objects and lighting were provided by Interdesign. The desk was designed by us and nationally manufactured.
